Legal Credits Course Dear Attorneys, we are pleased to present to you our program in Talmudic Studies which after successful completion will give you credits toward your continuing legal education requirements. There are many states which recognize and give MCLE credits for courses taken in other States. Attorneys should check with their local State Bar Association. The New York and Calif. Bar Associations recognize courses approved by ‘The Law Society of England and Wales’. Pirchei Shoshanim has received Providership Status from the Calif Bar Association as well as the Law Society of England and Wales. New York attorneys as well can take advantage of this opportunity as the MCLE programs fall with the New York Bar Associations requirements of each class taking an excess of 60 minutes.There will be numerous programs all are independent areas of learning based on the Shulchan Aruch (code of Jewish Law) in Choshen Mishpat, which regardless of one’s background or language can participate in. Each course consists of the Jewish Legal presentation on a particular topic ranging from recovery of Court Costs to the validity and acceptability of a Polygraph test. This will be followed by the Statutory law as compared to Talmudic Law and lastly followed by an exam. All courses will exceed 60 minutes in duration. In addition there will be an audio review of the Lesson. Upon completion of the program and the taking of the test you will receive a certification of attendance which will be print out directly for you on line. Signing up for the course can be done online through our secure server. You will receive a certificate of attendance issued by our organization for the attorney to keep for their records. Upon completion of the course you will then sign a second form which is our record of your attendance. We are also attaching an Activity Evaluation form that you may or may not choose to fill out and return to us. The price of each credit is $25 or $20 for more than 1. All those who are taking the Program through the “The Law Society of England and Wales” should fill out this form upon completing each course.
